The Orange County Food Council is looking for new members!
OCFC is helping grow a local food system that ensures health, sustainable agriculture, and access for all. The Council’s work is in building partnerships, identifying issues, and coordinating action. This is a unique model that brings together all the many interests in the food system to solve community problems.
Anyone who works or lives in Orange County who is interested in the food system, including food production, distribution, marketing, processing, consumption, access, disposal and more, is invited to apply. We have special interest and need for members with a connection to working on food access/justice, local food processing, and the waste stream. We seek a council that is diverse in race, gender, age, socio-economic status, and geographic location within the county.
We currently have three open seats, and we hope to have the new folks on board in July, 2017. Application is due by June 15. Please follow this link to apply: OCFC New Member Application
